WORKING WITH INDEPENDENT NURSING SERVICES
.
How do I join your team?

To join our team of professionals (LVN, LPN, CNA, RN, etc), you must fill out an application and specialty-specific skills list. The application will help us understand your career path. The skills checklist will allow us to evaluate your qualifications and match assignments with your particular skills and experience.

Once verified, we send you a welcome package with information to get started. There are two ways to apply:

  1. Use our Online Application System
  2. Request a packet by contacting us
How fast can I begin working?

There are instances where we can put someone to work in a matter of days. However, it depends on your skills, experience and readiness to work. (Applies to all LVN, LPN, CNA, RN, etc)
.
Can I travel when I choose? Do you require an annual contract?
You will have full control over when and where your work, and you'll never have to sign an annual contract. Simply decide when you want to work and where you want to go, and when your assignment is completed, you'll have even more choices.
.

.
How long are assignments?
Most assignments are typically 13 weeks; however, we may be able to customize the length of an assignment to meet your needs. (Applies to all LVN, LPN, CNA, RN, etc)

How do I choose an assignment?

Once your application and skills have been reviewed and verified, you and your recruiter will discuss what you expect from your assignments. Then you will be presented with available assignments based on your position and shift preferences. You will also be given a complete description of the facility, unit, area, salary and available bonuses. You will have full control over what assignments to take on.

Can I extend my assignment?

Our typical travel assignment is 13 weeks. Some facilities renew contracts, so you may decide to keep renewing with the same facility, or the facility may decide to offer you a permanent position. We also offer temporary opportunities for shorter lengths of time.
.
If I'm on assignment and find that I don't like it, am I obligated to stay?

You're only obligated to the facility and us for the length of your current assignment. Beyond the terms of each assignment, the choice to continue with the facility is totally up to you.
