At Independent Nursing Services, we work

requirements for new applicants. However, the list cannot be used as
the basis for determining eligibility. Additional requirements may
be client/state specific as well as the position applied for.

- Current and valid license and/or certification
from the state of practice.
- A minimum number of years of
experience is required, depending on the service area and
classification applied for.
- Certain tests, x-rays, immunity,
vaccination are required.
- Successful completion of a competency screening related to
area of expertise.
- Verifiable prior employment.
- Acknowledgment of various risk
reduction, safety, control, preparedness, directives, guidelines
and programs.
- Background check and/or
fingerprinting (state /
client-specific)
- Drug/alcohol testing and
confirmation.
In addition, our employees are expected
to meet requirements and clearances in accordance with our Clients, JCAHO,
OSHA, state and federal regulatory bodies.
After employment is accepted, we
continue to work with our employees and clients to ensure quality
and compliance with various rules and regulations.
